Design your RF anechoic chamber
Enter your room dimensions and frequency to estimate absorber coverage, edge treatment, packs, and pricing.
Planning your chamber
Does a walkway change the bill of materials?
The planner keeps floor absorber in the estimate and reports the access footprint separately. The selected pyramid depth sets the tip clearance a support system must provide. Deep absorbers need a supplier-designed walkway or a verified replacement-floor treatment.
Should I use flat absorber at corners?
The planner includes flat strips at every lined junction. It replaces affected pyramidal coverage and calculates flat stock from a cutting plan. Confirm the joint detail before installation.
How much space will I have for testing?
The dimensions between absorber tips show physical clearance. Equipment and its measurement distance must fit within that space. A quiet zone also needs verified field quality across the test volume.
How is the absorber depth selected?
Enter the lowest operating frequency for the planner to choose a qualifying pyramidal product, or select a pyramid size yourself. Review the product data for your test band and incidence angles.
When should I leave the floor unlined?
Use the floor treatment required by your measurement method. Switching floor absorber off removes those tiles from the order while retaining wall and ceiling coverage.
Can I use this planner for acoustic testing?
The catalog and frequency choices use RF data. Acoustic testing requires sound absorption data and a floor designed for the measurement method.
How do I save or share a design?
Use Save design / copy link to copy an encoded URL, or bookmark the page. Opening it restores the room settings, including the access layout.
What can I order from this materials list?
The cart contains the listed absorber packs, including spares. Raised access needs a separate supplier quote, and installation is arranged separately.
